My absolute top "WOW" song is Defying Gravity from Wicked- I literally never can do anything besides listen through the last 30 seconds or so of that song. ^_^ If I ever try and learn to sing well, it will be only until I can sing that song.
Carol of the Bells- Trans-Siberian Orchestra version is also very cool.

In no particular order (well, roughly alphabetical--but with a few randomly placed ones to keep you guessing): Sou Capoeira Paranaue--A capoeira song, like the one above. Singing it is fun, but I'll never get tired of the version in this video, by Ache Brasil. Truly amazing and beautiful take on a classic capo song, whenever it ends I long for it to keep going. Calice--Chico Buarque White and Nerdy--Weird Al Yankovic Temperature--Sean Paul. Very strong memories attached to this song. Constant Craving--k.d. lang. Eye of the Hurricane--David Wilcox. Sometimes, I literally get shivers when it gets to a certain part of this song. Other Side of the World--K. T. Tunstall Goodbye Earl--Dixie Chicks I Still Can't Say Goodbye--Chet Atkins. If a song could make me cry, it'd be this one. Ie Mama--Ale Muniz. One of the first samba songs I fell in love with. Man, that's some good dance music. The Jukies' Ball--Dan Hicks and His Hot Licks. The Kid--David Wilcox. La to the Left--Lyle Lovett. Like so many Lyle Lovett songs, if I could just figure out what it meant... Lothlorien--Enya. Midnight Sun--Wild Divine Band. North Dakota--Lyle Lovett. O Estrangeiro--Caetano Veloso. Penguins--Lyle Lovett. This is one of the ones where you just have to go "Wait, what?" and then laugh. Realidade Virtual--Cidade Negra. Saturday They'll All Be Back Again--David Wilcox. This Old Porch--Lyle Lovett. Wild Divine--Wild Divine Band. Heartbreak Town--Dixie Chicks. I know there are others, I may have to do another post with some more. There really are so many. I think music expresses some part of the human soul that can't be shown any other way--therefore, I always find more songs that really bowl me over. Most of them for how they sound, some for what they say.

OTHER songs I'm addicted to! ;D Song of The Heart - Prince (Happy Feet OST) I can imagine Demyx playing his sitar while Mumble is dancing along. (NOTE: Nobodies don't have hearts, and Demyx IS a Nobody. There's a hidden pun in this. XD) Transformation - Bulgarian Women's Choir (Brother Bear OST) Me likes ethnic-sounding songs. XD This song also made me love with the movie in the first place. XDDDDD Lazy Daisy (Ascolto Remix) - Up Dharma Down I'm currently working on a fanfic for a contest back in the NTWF KH Org and apparently, that's the theme song for my pairing, Demyx/Larxene. Also, it's UP DHARMA DOWN. Everyone knows I won't turn down anything UdD! XD *mutant yooyu'd* Sleeps With Butterflies - Tori Amos One word: PRETTYNESS! 8D Big Wheel - Tori Amos (again) I like the tough-girl feel of it. Even though I don't know what M.I.L.F. means. XD Space - Mishka Adams Even though I only heard it on the radio, I find the song nice, jazzy and . . . Up Dharma down-ish. ;D

But for many people (including me) those songs are the ones that you put on repeat, so. Another one: Never Is a Promise - Fiona Apple

The one that comes to mind right away is... "Spell" by Marie' Digby. www.youtube.com/watch?v=cxbSn_1ZSvoI heard it on Smallville and have been in love with it ever since! I've been desperately trying to figure out the piano part to that song, but so far I only have the first verse. 'Tis quite difficult.
