It's super embarrassing...especially when I'm with other people in the car... Hahah! I have to say, I'm another Regina Spektor fan. And Hotel Song is one of my absolute favs. I love the story-telling in it, and the way you can interpret it so many different ways. But I have to say, Chemo Limo is the one that really leaves me breathless and shows Regina's talent.
Also, guys, this is for songs that make you go "wow", not ones that are your favs.

Wow, I totally forgot about this one! I LOVE IT!
And I love the newest Shins album. Australia is just the best song on it.
And, also, um, Transatlantacism is one of my favorite songs. Ever. It was the first DCfC song I'd ever heard, and that was what got me into them <3.

OMG. You listen to Guang Liang? Love you. xD Because you posted a link to Tong Hua on the 'boids once, yes, I do. Not that often, though, but I listened to Yong Qi and Tong Hua often enough to have the words half memorized at one point.

Also, guys, this is for songs that make you go "wow", not ones that are your favs.I think, though, for a lot of people favs are often the same as songs that make you go "wow." "Big Brat" from Phantom Planet isn't a deep or profound song, but it is the epitome of rocking out in the car for me, so it "wows" me in that respect. ...In retrospect, I rock out in the car quite a bit... No wonder my friends are scared to drive with me. Oh, and I suppose I ought to add anything by Joanna Newsom. Once you get used to her really, really, semi-crazy cat lady voice, her songs are so completely lovely and epic.

:-/I'm quite the music fan. Have a lot of CDs and a fairly large library (doesn't even compare to my dad's, though). So these songs, in my opinion, are the cream of the crop. They're the ones that will always get me to stand back and listen, or have a meaning to me, etc. But as this is off the top of my head, this probably isn't everything.
Nothing Else Matters - Metallica Dance, Dance, Christa Paffgen - Anberlin Welcome to the Machine - Pink Floyd Time - Pink Floyd Wish You Were Here - Pink Floyd Comfortably Numb - Pink Floyd The War Was in Color - Carbon Leaf Love, Loss, Hope, Repeat - Carbon Leaf The Sea - Carbon Leaf Let Your Troubles Roll By - Carbon Leaf Beauty of the Beast - Nightwish (should hopefully be seeing them at the end of May) Existentialism on Prom Night - Straylight Run Fix You - Coldplay Kayleigh - Marillion Distraction - Angels & Airwaves (seeing them end of Feb, hopefully) A Little's Enough - Angels & Airwaves Start the Machine - Angels & Airwaves Iris - Goo Goo Dolls Konstantine - Something Corporate (amazing, given how I used to hate it. But no more bad associations to go with it, so yeah) Gotta Knock a Little Harder - Yoko Kanno / The Seatbelts Kimi Ga Ita Monogatari - See-Saw My Will - (it was the first Inu-Yasha ending theme) Violin Sonata No. 9 "The Kreutzer" - Beethoven (especially the Barenboim and Berliner Philharmonic recording...I think that's the one, anyway)
