You go to sleep late or something? What do you do to miss sleep in the night. Ive never fallen asleep in school. Its like Ive got reserve energy or something. Im not tired at night so I go to sleep very very late, then Im tired when I wake up for like ten minutes, then Im fine again. What he said.

^^;;... Most people say I'm freaky for not sleeping forever. I guess I catch it up on Saturday mornings.

Hmm...it's funny. None of us Brits have fallen asleep at school. Schools in other countries must be REALLY boring. I was thinking that too! We'd get killed if we fell asleep in class though... .

I'm very much not a morning person. Waking up at 5:30 everyday and going to school at 6:30 does not work for me. I drink coffee, yet it has no effect on me.
I can't believe some people have never fallen asleep in school. Last year I fell asleep every day in English and once a week in German.
This year, I've only fallen asleep once -- in Geometry. That's about it. I've got to maintain my 4.0 average and stay in the top 5% of the class, yunno.

I imagine that's the impression the rest of the world is getting by this. The truth is the best TV shows are on late at night! (Just kidding again.) I really don't know why.

Twice in German (when I was little), once in Literature (Middle School), and on and off in Algebra (now). I can't help it, I sit next to the window, there's usually a breeze, the birds are chirping, Mr. Math Teacher is droning, my eyelids are drooping... The teachers at our school get mad, though. But they have funny ways of waking up their students.

If it wasn't for my insomnia, I swear I'd be asleep every lesson. School isn't an education, it's an endurance test, seeing how long we can last against perpetual tedium; in preperation for the subsequent labour which, of course, is the very essence of tedium itself. I have a better chance of sleeping listening to my biology teacher (discussing the finer points of the font size of british tabloids these days with herself), than in my bed in the silent dark.

I think I fell asleep for about three seconds in math class once, but no one noticed, since I was still sitting up. During my three seconds of sleep, I had a two second dream about pies and bacon, for some reason... (no, I wasn't hungry, I think it was because we were learning about pi in class, and our mystery motivator was bacon.) Not that anyone cares. Otherwise, I always stay awake, which is fairly impressive, I think, since I get a maximum of six hours of sleep a night.

It kind of depends on which teacher is talking and the time. It's also bad for the teacher because I sit in front, but sometimes I just can't help it... This is based on the first period of school. Malay = Almost always fall asleep or falling asleep. English = Usually not. Chemistry = What's the difference? I don't understand what that stupid mumbling teacher's talking about anyways... ZZZzzzzzzz zzzzzBiology = My Bio teacher has nasty ways of waking people up. Physics = Usually not. History = My History teacher's very funny, so I manage to stay awake. Additional Maths = Sleep? With all those sums to do? You gotta be kidding me. Modern Maths = Occasionally. It's a lot easier than Add Maths. Moral = Without fail. That's why it's always after lunch.

I've never actually fell asleep at school, but I day-dream quite alot, especially in logic class. And when we aren't doing anything, sometimes I lay on my desk, but I just rest a little, I never fall asleep.

I had an electronics class that had absolutely the best possible circumstances to put someone to sleep. Lights out? Check. White noise? Check (overhead projector) Right after lunch? Check. Droning, lecturing professor who you can't understand anyway? Check. I'd just sit down and my eyes would get heavy.
And I was one of six in the class, so it's not like he wouldn't notice either.
One wonders how I managed to even GET a grade in that class.
