I'm in Georgia, USA. I don't like the weather here... too hot, and it never snows. Well, actually it did snow for a day in January, but that was first time in a few years, plus it was all melted by the late afternoon. -__-() I've been to the mountains of North Carolina, and I truly feel like that's where my heart lives. I plan on moving there after college (the college I want to go to in Savannah, ironically, is twice as hot and three times as humid as here xD). I also dislike this area because it's growing so rapidly and there's really poor planning in the city's construction, and they're tearing up all the trees and land to put in new stores when there's a bunch of empty shopping centers already that they could use. It's just really, REALLY annoying. You'd think that by living in Georgia, there would be a lot of rednecks, but actually, we get a LOT of immigrants, chiefly Korean and Mexicans. Though we still do have out fair share of toothless rednecks. They scare me, what with their shaved heads and camo pants and leather jackets with the HUGE confederate symbol plastered on the back... I don't even think they really know what it means, they've just been taught to practically worship the rebel flag. Bahh, I'm ranting... *calms down* But a good thing about where I live is that there's always a Super Target across the street. ;D

Me? I'm from northeastern Tennesee, in the little pointy part up past Knoxville. I live in this clump of three towns called the Tri-Cities where guys who write songs about Martha Stewart make the front page of the newspaper. (I swear I am NOT making this up.) In one of the towns, Bristol, there is a NASCAR Busch Series racetrack that attracts huge swarms of race fans twice a year, once in March right around my birthday, and once in August. During those two weeks of the year, don't go out unarmored. Seriously. You'll literally drown in people. There's a bunch of mountains I can see out my window called the Great Smoky Mountains. They're part of the Appalachain (I know I didn't spell that right so don't bug me about it) Mountains and they're always very, very foggy. And we have cows here, too. Lots and lots of cows. I LOVE Maryland (Chesapeake Bay) crabs! All of my Mom's relatives live in Maryland and it's TOTALLY awesome when they get bushels of crabs in the summer and we have a big family crab-fest! Of course, my grandpa hates crabs too... he's eats hamburgers while the rest of us eat crabs... off topic, huh? YAY! CRABS! I absolutely love crabs! They're my favorite food of all time. Of course, I love lobsters and crawfish and clams and mussels, too. If it has a shell, I'll eat it. ^_^

I used to live in Georgia, too, and my neighborhood was so multi-cultural. It was a community of mostly graduate students going to Georgia Tech, so most of the adults were getting their PhD degrees, and all the children were geniuses. There were people from China, Taiwan, Sweden, Japan, Korea, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Egypt, Germany, Ethiopia, India... The school district was awesome, too.

*Hackles raise* (I'm actually a cute puppy ^_~) Something wrong with that? Everything is bigger and better in Texas. I don't even live there. Oh well, once a Texan, always a Texan, especially if you are born there. You should seen how I get when people start questioning what happened at the Alamo. lol, I'm just a prideful Texan. ^^
