If you want gory things, check out rotten.com (I think it's .com)... One smilie: I once was searching for fanfics of pokemon (I think it was pokemon, it's was a long time ago), and I found a fanfic website that had... well it wasn't porn, but it were somewhat explicit stories of "love" involving the Harry Potter characters, Xena and Gabrielle, pokemon characters (but not the pokemon themselves... I think... ), ... you get the picture. The first one I read, before I knew what exactly they were all about, was actually kind of good, because it was only a love story with no details I'd rather not know about. Very nice, actually, very well written. As for the second I tried to read... Let's just say the very first line grossed me out. There are some sick, sick people out there....

You get a LOT of *interesting* fanfics out there. Neh - I read most of them anyway...but I do have limits. Some of the stuff you find can be...odd. What annoys me most is porn spam. I get several that go straight to my Hotmail inbox and, as I check messages systematically through, I get subjected to them. One contained pictures...Ugh. Neohero kind of annoys me - they post the Mystery Pic and Lenny Conundrum answers. They tried to stop, but got flamed by fans so are continuing to do the answers.

Yes, I get lots of junk mail. Stupid people. I blocked like billions. Yesterday, I had 18 emails in my Bulk Mail Folder. Whee!!
They think I'm a boy (>_< Me no tell you why I know!). Idiots.

I used to get junk mail, but then I got a new e-mail and signed up with excite so I'd have an e-mail adress to give to people for signing up with things. I keep my other for "real life" friends (like I have any ), family, camp friends, and stuff like that. But even now, on my excite address, I get barely any junk stuff. It's weird.

I bet if you had an email like asdfkgisnsmsdjfiasndsf@odfjgihlsalkdsfjgid.com, you'd be safe . . . or more endagered than ever.

Neogamers! I hate, hate, hate them. They ripped one of my stories to use for their Neoquest guide, and they make it look like I sent it to -them- instead of the Times. And no matter how I mail them, they refuse to take it down!

Ugh...I hate when hentai sites come up when I search for things like "pokemon" in search engines...Yahoo is the worst.
I once searched for "Pokemon pics" in Yahoo and up came this site it looked okay "get a ton of Pokemon pics...Staryu, Pikachu, Mew..." so I clicked and...to my utter horror "Poke your mom" appeared as the title with very umm...disturbing images. I closed the window as fast as I could and deleted the cookies, temp files and history...I never want to have that experience again.
The sad thing is, they do that on purpose to lure little kids to their awful awful websites...shame on them all.

I've never had much of a problem with icky sites. I used to get a lot of icky messages on Yahoo! IM, but since I've blocked every username that has ever sent that junk, it doesn't happen anymore.
I think I've accidentally gone to an icky site only once, when I mistyped an address. Once or twice a fanfic has had content I didn't expect, but the same has happened with printed novels, so I don't think that really counts....
