So, I was looking around the guilds, but really found nothing that really suited me. I applied to be a knight, but it just... doesn't seem to be me, if that really matters.
Then, I got the idea of a Theives Guild.
We'd have some sort of hiarchy-oldest, most experienced theives in a counsil, and maybe a Theif King/Queen to make sure they don't mess up. Then, there'd be the younger theives with new ideas, but still with experience. It would sort of be an anarchist society too. I'm still not soild on all the details.
Does anyone else like this idea? Does it seem workable? I'd like some help with this, if it can be done...

The Thieves guild sounds too much like the mercenaries. But I don't know, that might just be my opinion.

D: I dunno. The Thief Guild idea would make sense, but with Pirates stealing anyway and Mercenaries being sort of hired thieves it seems like the idea kind of gets overlapped. Not to mention that we probably have enough guilds at six.

I have to agree with Goosh and Fen on this.

If you want to go to a guild that does the same thing, go for the Pirates. They're smelly and drunk, yes, but they do steal. Stealing is for babies. Assassination's the way to go.

This sorta reminds me of Ankh Morpork, from Terry Pratchett's Discworld. There are many guilds there, but there's also no pirates' guild, so far as I know.
There's Assasins, which could be the Mercenaries. And there's also Thieves.
I like the idea, but it might be overlapping. ((Just forget the fact that I'm never going to admit that the fingersmith is a type of thief. XD))
